TDFI SERIES – ID MOUNT
Portable flange facers with internal clamping for on-site machining on flanges, valves, pumps, turbine housings and heat exchangers Ø 5.9″–173.2″ (150–4400 mm).
Because of the flat design, the TDFI Series is particularly suitable for use in locations where space is at a premium, and separate installation of the clamping device and machine unit makes for easy handling. For example, when flanged fittings are being replaced in a pipeline, the sealing surfaces of the flanges at the opposing pipe ends can both be machined using the TDFI. The clamping device can be aligned precisely within a short time by means of the simply-designed adjusting system.
The TDFI Series automatic feed incorporates both radial (X-axis) and axial (Z-axis) movement. This provides various machining options for end faces, spiral-fluted sealing surfaces, holes, landings, grooves, and chamfering.
